Descrizione
Morfologia
This is an asymmetric sinkhole doline located at the contact between the blue marls and the Eocene calcarenites (Upper Lutetian). The gentler slopes correspond to the more friable marly materials, while the calcarenites present steeper edges. At the bottom of this doline opens a shaft 15 metres deep that runs along a highly evolved joint enlarged by infiltration, which is concentrated in a NE-SW direction. At the bottom there is a small debris cone that obstructs the passage at depth. Via a lateral zone one reaches a small chamber that is the bottom of a shaft with no exterior communication and that evolves along the same joint.
Idrologia
A small stream runs over the more friable marly materials, which have gentler slopes.
