Descrizione

Morfologia

The cavity connects with the surface through a collapse shaft formed in the Eocene (Lutetian) calcarenites, 6 metres deep with a circular section of 9 square metres. At the bottom of this shaft begins a descending ramp that forms the boulder cone produced by the collapse of the entrance shaft, 5 metres high. Once past this boulder ramp, a small horizontal gallery associated with a N-S joint is reached.

Idrologia

On the ceiling of the horizontal gallery, two chimneys are observed, very polished by the water inflows that seep in from outside. These two chimneys coincide with the surface contact between the impermeable blue marls and the calcarenites, where the corresponding depression is forming.
