After 4 Kms from Alsasua, an abandoned quarry that was used years ago can be seen on the left. To reach it, it is necessary to cross the Altzania river over a bridge and take a local road that leads to Olazagutia; the railway passes near the quarry. Another possible access route is to take this local road from Olazagutia. After barely 200 metres South of the quarry and taking the track in the direction of Olazagutía, on the right there is a path towards the W. that leads to the summit of mount Orobe.
