Descrizione

Morfologia

The entrance of the cavity occupies the bottom of a doline that forms part of a group of depressions aligned and oriented roughly E-W.

A 5.7 metre shaft drops onto a gallery on a slope and occupied by fallen blocks. This gallery appears to develop along a joint trending NNW-SSE. At its lower part are two small drops of 3 and 4 metres joined at their base by a crawl and giving access to a meander. The upper zone of this, going upstream, is very narrow for progression after about fifteen metres. The lower section of the meander is interrupted by two potholes and a 4 metre drop before ending in an impassable narrowing.

Idrologia

In the lower section of the meander a small water flow is observed (September 1977).

Storia

Discovered and explored by the French speleologist Jacques Jolfre in 1974. Visited again by members of the Groupe Spéléologique des Pyrénées (Toulouse) during their campaign in the Vall d'Aran in 1977, who produced the complete record and survey.
