Località

On the BV-2441 road in Pontons and above Km 11.5, take the paved track heading towards La Llacuna and follow it for 4 km until reaching the col beside the Masia de Ca l'Aleix. At this point leave the asphalt and take a new dirt track descending towards the SE for 750 m to a junction of tracks. At this point leave the vehicle and continue on foot along the same track heading SE for 60 m, where you leave the track on its right towards a marked stone slope.

The cave is about 150 m from the track, climbing the stone slope beneath the cliff and the blind gully with a height difference of about 8 m that ascends steeply towards the cave.

Taking the Cova-Avenc del Mas de Pontons as a reference, the cavity in question lies about 70 m to the SE on the same cliff wall.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Cavity formed from the faults existing at the edge of the cliff. The entrance mouth is about 4.5 m high, in which a wedged block limits the access height to 1.6 m. The gallery goes inwards and turns in an E direction to a small distributor, from which the two final impenetrable passages emerge.

Progressione

Access is by climbing a steeply sloping gully until reaching the entrance mouth.

Storia

In October 2019 Jordi Navarro and Montse Mañosa (Centre Excursionista Castellar) visited it and made the survey.
