A 9.5-metre-long cavity with a high entrance and micro-chimneys, a gallery with blocks and Moon milk flows, ending in a choke of pebbles cemented by clay.
Descrizione
Morfologia
The entrance is high and on its outer part presents several micro-chimneys, apparently produced by incrustations of clay with oxides (possibly iron), which have corroded the limestone, thus creating this type of microform. The beginning of the gallery shows several blocks, among which one of metric size stands out, partly obstructing it. The cavity ends after 9.5 metres of development in a choke of rounded and angular pebbles, cemented by clay of the shale type. It presents an upper part of the gallery where a phreatic-type morphology is evident, with a later evolution in the vadose regime.
Concrezioni
Once the obstacle of the blocks has been passed, the gallery makes a left turn of 43°, meeting an ascending zone rich in Moon milk flows on both sides of the gallery.
Progressione
The beginning of the gallery shows several blocks, among which one of metric size stands out, partly obstructing it, forcing a rather uncomfortable and narrow passage. Once this obstacle has been passed, the gallery makes a left turn of 43°, meeting an ascending zone rich in Moon milk flows on both sides of the gallery.
Altri dettagli
Little by little, a clayey upper layer was deposited on the pebbles of the floor, later hidden in a new phase, this one of limestone dissolution and mixed with decalcification clays. In this way a thin and very impure crust was created, which can be observed today on the floor of the cavity.
