De los Arbustos

A large shelter formed at a contact between limestones and marls. The marls form the floor and the limestones the ceiling and walls.

Pools are visible on the floor and water may flow in rainier periods.

It is a well-marked trail that begins with a steep slope and numerous bends until gaining considerable height above the bottom of the ravine. Further on the path crosses a steep scree slope, for which a handline has been installed as a railing. From this point it loses inclination but continues climbing continuously. Little by little the terrain closes in until entering a pine forest, although the path remains very marked. After walking for a while inside the forest, it opens up giving way to a small clearing devoid of trees where there is a fork in the paths. We take the path that leaves to the left of the clearing and reach a waterfall from which a ravine starts. We cross the waterfall and continue along a path that runs parallel to a cliff on the left. The path disappears after walking a little, but we continue skirting below the cliff. On the left we find the SM17 cave already described previously. We continue skirting the cliff for about 100 metres and the cave appears on the left.
