De las Ovejas

Cave with a large, spectacular entrance mouth that can be seen from the road, located in an orange vertical wall. The cave is formed at a contact between marl and limestone, with the floor of marl and the ceiling and walls of limestone. The mouth is very easy to see because of its large dimensions.

Pools can be seen on the floor and water may flow in rainier periods.

It is a well-marked trail that begins with a steep slope and numerous switchbacks until gaining considerable height above the bottom of the ravine. Further on the path crosses a steep scree slope, so a fixed cable is installed as a handrail. From this point it loses inclination but continues climbing continuously. Little by little the terrain closes in until entering a pine forest, although the path remains very marked. After walking for a while inside the forest, it opens up giving way to a small clearing devoid of trees where there is a fork in the paths. We take the path that leaves to the left of the clearing and reach a waterfall from which a ravine starts. We cross the waterfall and continue along a path that runs parallel to a cliff on the left-hand side. The path, which at first is very clear, stops being so further on, but soon we find the mouth of the cave located in the cliff we have on the left.
