Narrow ascending gallery 12 m long in Esparreguera, with 3.5 m of vertical drop.

Caratteristiche

Località

It is located at the foot of a crag above the C-55, about 415 metres E (E9N) of Can Paloma and about 250 metres S of the Puda de Montserrat. On this crag there is a climbing area known as “Les puces”.

At Km. 7.35 of the C-55 road from Abrera to Manresa, one must take a turn-off, the B-113. At Km. 4.1, a track, often closed, runs alongside a small vineyard. At a point where the track makes a 90º turn to the right, the path that will lead us to the foot of the crag leaves in a N direction.

About thirty metres to the right (W) is the base of the avenc Rubricata and a short distance away the cave.

Descrizione

Morfologia

It consists of a single ascending gallery with 3.5 metres of vertical drop. The first metres, up to a fracture?, have a regular section (0.7 x 1 m.), after which the ceiling gains in height and remains open or with wedged blocks. The floor is sediments.

Storia

In 1985 (the year of the millennium of Esparreguera) and invited by the owners of Can Paloma, members of the ERE of the CEC surveyed the cave and other nearby cavities.
