The two caves, Gran and Petita, are located beneath the Penya-segat del Santuari de la Mare de Déu de les Esposes o Espases. They present a comfortable access if made by climbing the wall from the last waterfall; they are very visible from the path that goes to les Nou Fonts. The cova petita opens practically in the cliff.

Descrizione

Morfologia

There are two cavities opened in the same stratum and at a very short distance from each other. The smaller one has a short gallery of 4 metres of route until a narrowness, continuing through an uncomfortable tube of a few metres; in the ceiling there is an upper gallery of difficult access due to its small dimensions, this ends in an accumulation of blocks after a short ascending route.
