The cavity is located at the base of the cliff, in the stretch between the Santuari de la Mare de Deu del Far and the riera de l'Om. Approximate coordinates, without much precision.

Descrizione

Morfologia

In the upper left part of a large rock shelter we find the entrance to this cavity, which is reached after overcoming the two-odd metres of height from the floor. The gallery has a width that ranges between 0.4 and 0.6 metres. After travelling some fifteen metres the gallery turns 90º to the right, then turns left again two metres further on, the point where we find the maximum width of the cavity. A few metres further on we find a new turn to the right and a constant decrease in the section of the gallery, ending in a crawlway.

Storia

The first exploration of which we have a record is the one carried out by the Grup d'Amics de l'Espeleologia Científica, of Manlleu, who explored and surveyed it on 26 October 1972, naming it cova nº 3 del Stop. In the same area they explored 3 other cavities, and an article about it was published that same year, in a local bulletin of Manlleu.
