Località

On the L-152 road from Artesa de Segre to Tremp, just past kilometre 7, we turn left towards Vall-llebrerola. From the sports area a service track for the power line sets off in a N direction, following the riu de les Segues upstream. On reaching the end of the track we find a power pylon situated on the edge of the gorge; it is necessary to descend to the river and follow it upstream along the hydrographic right bank until reaching the height of the next power pylon. The cave is located below this pylon and 10 metres above the river bed. Approximate coordinates.

Descrizione

Morfologia

A 7x4 metre entrance that gives access to a chamber 7 metres in diameter where a set of interconnected conduits discharge; one of them gives access to the upper chamber, with a low ceiling and characteristics similar to the rest of the cavity.

Storia

The first mention is found in the Catálogo Espeleológico del Montsec, published by the ERE in 1970, providing no further data than those of the situation of the cavity. The first complete account corresponds to the GELL, based on an exploration carried out in 1993.
