It can be reached via the track that climbs from the Hostal Roig up to almost reaching the Portella Blanca, which lies about a hundred metres from the end of the track. It can also be reached on foot from the abandoned village of Rúbies to the Portella Blanca. For both approaches, the vehicle access restrictions during periods of fire risk must be taken into account, as the forest rangers close the barriers.

From the Portella Blanca, follow in a W direction along the cliff, where after 250 metres and shortly before reaching the Peladet, we will find a narrow ledge on the cliff that in a few metres takes us down to the cave.

Morfologia

A wide entrance gives access to a gallery 12 metres long, which narrows as one advances, until it ends at a point with no continuation.

Concrezioni

Inside there are some spots with small flowstone formations that are somewhat damaged.

At the entrance there are still remains of an old wall that protected the entrance of the cave.

Storia

Known since ancient times by the people of the area and used during the civil war. In 2014 it was rediscovered during the prospecting campaign in the Montsec de Rúbies organised by the SAM de Tremp and other collaborating groups, without providing further information. In November 2017, Joan Ramon Segura, at the request of Manel Cortés, who had long known of the cave's existence, began the search for it until he managed to locate it.
