Cova del Gat

The cave is located in Figuerola del Camp (Alt Camp). Going along the main road from Valls to Montblanc (N-240) and once past the hamlet of Fontscaldes, between kilometres 26 and 27 a large bend begins (Tomb de la Paella) and at its centre, on the right, an asphalted track starts (Camí de Figuerola) which must be followed as far as the houses of the Fassina (or les Fassines). Here, on the right, one must take a signposted track with signs that would lead to the Torre Mixarda. Halfway along it, shortly before reaching the Mas del Llop, there is a signpost, where the direction to follow to go to the cave is indicated, along a path that in its last stretch has a rope handrail and after about 250 metres one reaches the entrance, protected by a metal grille structure and closed with a padlock.
