Caratteristiche

Località

To get there we take the track that leaves from the last bend of the road before reaching l'Alzina d'Alinyà, and follow it for about four kilometres to the first col, which is the coll de la Nou. We continue along the track to the next col, which is that of la Maçana, and go on along the track, overcoming the spurs that bound the vall de Caferna. A livestock fence blocks the way; once past it and for a couple of kilometres onwards we observe the farms of Montant de Tost on the other side, while the track runs level beneath some pines that hide a small cliff. Here there is a space to leave the car; at this point a small path running perpendicular, opened between the box trees, will bring us within a few metres to the cave entrance.

The coordinates given in this record are those published by the GELL (see bibliography); it gives the impression that these do not correspond to the explanation of the situation of the cavity. We believe that the more or less approximate coordinates would be ED50. X: 367197; Y: 4673789; Z: 1411 masl.
