Cova-avenc del Pas del Sastre

The cave mouth is at the base of the upper crag of the Mont-Roig range, on its north face. The shaft is located on the upper platform of the massif.

To reach the cave, follow the path that runs from the Camarasa reservoir towards the Vilanova de la Sal train halt; once past the turn-off for the cova del Tabac, continue a little further and take a very faint trail that climbs up to the cave. From here one can easily reach the upper plateaus of the range where the shaft mouth is found. It can also be reached by a track that leaves Vilanova de la Sal in the direction of the ermita de Montalegre; a turn-off to the right will lead to the coll de Porta (at present there is a chain at this point), the track continues to a forest refuge where the track ends, but it is preferable to follow the trail that runs along the ridge near the crag to the refuge. From there we must head north-east, where near the crag we will find the shaft mouth.
