Cau dels Ossos Sud

It can be reached both from l'Estartit and from l'Escala, bearing in mind that during the summer months vehicle access is prohibited. Probably the most suitable approach is via Sobrestany and la Torre Ferrana; from there we follow the carretera de la Muntanya Gran (despite the name it is a track, but in good condition), we will soon come to a fork where we keep left; past the mirador del Roc Ferran a long straight begins; after covering 2.65 kilometres from la Torre Ferrana, we will find on the right of the track a wide parking area (ETRS89 coordinates 513072 – 4658371). From here and on the other side of the track a faint path sets off in direction N30W which after 65 metres and on the right of the path leads us to the Cau dels Ossos Sud.
