Località

From Girona, take the GI-531 road (Sant Gregori, Llorà, Sant Martí de Llémena and Sant Esteve de Llémena); shortly after km 25, the turn-off to Sant Aniol de Finestres branches off, reached shortly after 2 kilometres. At the entrance to the village, take the track leading to Mas Sec (according to the ICC: Massec). Once the Llémena river has been crossed, continue and pass by the access area to the avenc del Bloc. It is necessary to climb about 60 metres of elevation gain along the slope of the serra de Finestres to reach the cavity.

Coordinates of little or no reliability. Very imprecise location.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Through a gentle ramp one enters a narrow, high gallery about 10 metres long, until it undergoes a considerable narrowing that makes passage impracticable about 5 metres further on. Via a vertical step located beside the narrowing, one reaches the very middle of a gallery, parallel to the previous one, but somewhat wider and situated at a lower level. The height is practically the same and it has a length of about 15 metres.

Tectonic-type cavity set in two parallel joints.

The only data available for this cavity are those provided by members of SIE – CEA who explored it on 19 December 1971.
