Località

On leaving Setcases, once we have crossed the river Ter, we will follow the C-771 road towards Vallter 2000 for 1 kilometre. At this point, and before crossing the pont de la Farga, a path sets off to the right which we will follow for about a hundred metres, where we will find a sign indicating the balma de les Donzelles. We will go up the path on the right which in a few metres will bring us to the rock shelter.

Morfologia

Rock shelter measuring 8.21 x 5.53 metres and 8.79 metres deep. Right beside this rock shelter, but on the right-hand side, there is a raised arch that can be seen from the road, but which has no base; it rises up the crag and at the very top forms the arch, about 5 metres deep.

Storia

This rock shelter is listed in the Catàleg Espeleològic de Catalunya of 1980 without providing much data, since these had been removed from the alpine map. In the Catàleg Espeleològic de Catalunya of 2009, the same data are repeated.
