Balma de la Cambra dels Bocs

We will leave the municipality of Bagà and head along the road towards Gisclareny for a stretch of 2 Km, we will leave the main track to follow the one that branches off towards la Dou del Bastareny for a stretch of about 4 Km, we will leave the car before crossing the Monnell bridge, very close to la Dou.

We will continue on foot along the same track, crossing the Monnell bridge and heading up parallel to the river for a stretch of approximately 1 Km, we will leave the track to head up along the Torrent de Vimboca on a path for about 400m, we leave this path and take a fainter trail, a little more lost and marked in blue, which branches off from the torrent in a W direction, and passes beside the ermita de Sant Romà d'Oreis in about 540m, the trail continues and within 500m the Cambra dels Bocs is already visible to the north, at a greater height and at the other end of the gorge, the trail continues and will pass to the other end of the gorge in about 560m, at this point we leave the trail and head north through the forest, over a stretch of about 760m and a drop of about 350m, the rock shelter is located at the E end of the entrance to the great Cambra dels Bocs.
