Località

From the small hut located in the Can Muntaner industrial estate, on the Pla d'Ardenya, we will head north along the track that runs parallel to the quarry until it makes a 180° turn to the left towards the quarry facilities. At the start of the turn, on the right, a path leads us in about fifteen metres to the mouth of the pit.

Descrizione

Morfologia

A 2-metre shaft places us in a narrow joint that ends in a crawl. Once past it, it continues until reaching a shaft that is less than 10 metres deep. From its base, the gallery ascends in a south-westerly direction until almost reaching the level of the entrance mouth. Back at the base of the shaft, the gallery descends between ramps and drops, the longest of 6 metres, reaching its maximum depth at -32 metres.

Storia

Begun to be cleared by GE Badalona in 1972 on observing that in rainy periods this point acted as a sink, they finally managed to access the interior of the cavity on 15 April 1973.
