Avenc de les Portes

From the small hut located in the Can Muntaner estate at Pla d'Ardenya, we will head north along the track that runs parallel to the quarry until it makes a 180º left-hand bend to head towards the quarry facilities; at the start of the bend, on the right, a path sets off which after about fifteen metres passes by the mouth of the avenc Pomar. We will follow the path marked with purple paint (data from 2010); this descends until it meets a wider path that comes to us from the left; here the path levels out falsely and then turns slightly to the left, starting a steep slope in less than 100 metres; we will find a small trail on the right that in a little more than 100 metres will take us to the cavity.

It can also be reached from Les Casetes, where the route is shorter, but on the other hand there is the difficulty of finding the access point to the path. This is on the left-hand side of Carrer de la Cerdanya, between Les Casetes and the quarry.
