You have to go up the road that leads from Campgràs to the radio installations and specifically to the one at elevation 591 (where the building with the “ball” is). At the last left-hand bend, before reaching the access gate, you must head N10W, first across the flat area where we will leave the avenc dels Tres on the left, and a little further on we will come to the avenc de la Discòrdia; once past this we begin to descend the slope following some cairns that marked a path, today vanished among the vegetation. The pit is in the bed of the stream called (according to the ICC) del Ginebró, in its upper part and about 120 metres before reaching the Avenc de Sant Cristòfol.

It must be said that at present, reaching its mouth is a difficult task, for the vegetation that hinders passage along the slopes is like a jungle in the stream-bed area.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Through an elongated mouth partially blocked by boulders one enters a first shaft 7 metres deep and easy to climb down. At its bottom there is a new vertical section structured in three narrow passages, joined at the upper and lower zones. Next, a new drop leads to the terminal zone, subdivided by cemented boulders.

Idrologia

Old sinkhole of the stream that was aborted prematurely by the cessation of the stream's water activity.

Storia

Discovered by members of SIRE – UEC Sants in February 1966 on leaving a visit to the Avenc de Sant Cristòfol. On 6 March of the same year the mouth was finished being cleared and the first exploration was made. Since in those days the Avenc de Sant Cristòfol was known by some as Avenc del Cisco, this one was named Petit del Cisco.
