Località

The cavity is located in the Morella area (Garraf). From the Campgràs doline we will go up the road towards puig Ginebró, where the “bola” of the radioelectric installations of the serrat de la Morella is found; on reaching the last crossroads after the steep climb, we will head in direction E19S for about a hundred metres, the point where the cavity is found. At 45 metres of route we will already make out the whole slope, where various cairns are visible, among them that of the avenc Destapat (data from 2012). The cavity is located 10 metres to the W of the avenc de la Lira.

Morfologia

The entrance gives access to a drop of little more than a metre and a half; this connects with a shaft that ends at -8 metres depth.

Storia

The discovery and first exploration was carried out on 18 January 1959 by members of the speleology group of the Unió Excursionista de Catalunya - Cornellà de Llobregat.
