Località

To the NE of the summit of the Morella, on the turó dels Costerets, and a little further N of the doline where the GIESC and dels Colors pits are found. Access can be gained via the path leading from the Morella to Coll Sostrell (GR-92).

Descrizione

Morfologia

Formed by a single 8-metre-deep shaft. At its bottom, slightly inclined, the maximum depth point is reached (-8.8 m). At the other end of the plan view, a small chamber with a blind vault can be entered.

Storia

We do not know who explored this small pit or when, nor the name its first explorers would have given it.

Rediscovered in 2011 by members of the GE Badalona and SIE del CEA, who detected signs of an earlier exploration. They explored and surveyed it on 5 May 2011 and decided to catalogue it under the name of the nearest toponym.
