Località

On the right-hand slope of the Fondo de les Maleses.

The entrance is easy to locate, and you must descend from Ca l'Amell following the power line near the fondo, as far as the tower numbered 42788. Here we turn left, until we find ourselves above a rather vertical cliff, and we look for a small, not very worn path that leads us towards the only fig tree we will see.

This leafy fig tree grows at the very base of the pit, and completely covers the 2.50 metre semicircle of the entrance.

Descrizione

Morfologia

The shaft is 5.60 metres deep, and its dimensions are uniform down to its base; on the left we observe a small chimney that ends at 3.40 m in a small hole that reconnects with the shaft.

The floor forms a cone of debris, and the rubble from it blocks two narrow crawlways; one of them, the left-hand one, leads us on a slope to the end of the cavity and its highest point: -8 metres.

Storia

The first exploration took place in February 1959 by members of the GES – CMB.
