Località

At a bend in the T-301 road from Tivenys to Benifallet, shortly before km 17, a track (Camí del Gord) branches off to the left and must be followed to a chain where cars must be left. From here, a path climbs westward toward the Castell de Som or Torreta. Halfway up and in the middle of the path is the entrance to the cavity.

Descrizione

Morfologia

A small 5-metre pit drops us onto some blocks, and along one side, downclimbing about 6 metres, one reaches the deepest point, where through a crawl one can enter a small chamber where the cavity ends.

Provisional data pending a survey which for the moment we do not have.

Storia

During the many campaigns that the GIE of the Club Excursionista de Gràcia carried out in the Serra de Cardó during the 1960s and 1970s, they were informed in Tivenys of the existence, among others, of this pit, which they explored in 1971.

Rediscovered and visited by members of the Espeleo Club Tortosa in 2011.
