Descrizione
Morfologia
The entrance is inside a funnel-shaped doline and gives way, through a 9-metre shaft, to a chamber of regular dimensions with the floor covered by debris and with a slight incline, until it opens onto a 2-metre drop with a circular floor (elevation -18 and the point where the first exploration ended).
At the bottom of this base there is a very narrow vertical conduit that descends 4 metres more, leading into a short gallery that, at its end, opens a new very irregular shaft 9 metres deep and at its bottom, among blocks, a new shaft is hinted at, totally impenetrable.
Progressione
The first exploration took place on the afternoon of 12 August 1934, after the exploration of the Avenc de l'Arion and by the group led by Lluís Porta i Massana (CEC).
The exploration of the lower shafts was carried out by the Grup Espeleològic d'Ulldecona towards the end of the 1970s.
