Morfologia
Through a small mouth, we will find two possible continuations; the first and most accessible is no more than a gallery 8 metres long with a very irregular section and a floor full of blocks. The second, after descending a short step, gives access to an elongated chamber where a 19-metre pit opens, with earthy and very irregular walls; the floor is the start of a 15-metre gallery with enormous blocks at its base.
Progressione
Between the blocks we can descend to the maximum penetrable level at -32 metres, while through the previous gallery we can reach the opposite end, where a small step places us at a depth of -31 metres.
Storia
Cleared by J. Plazas and A. Asensio during the summer of 1970, not exceeding the level of -12 metres.
In February 1972 it is explored by the SIRE-UEC de Collblanc down to the -32 metre level.
On 6 June 1978 A. Asensio and J. Tres carry out a new survey that gives a depth of -27 metres. This survey will not be published until 1984 within an article about the Ordal in the magazine Carbonato, where it is mentioned that the mouth is covered due to its proximity to the Can Paulet housing development.
Based on the previous information, in addition to others that also confirmed the disappearance of the pit as a consequence of the housing development, the cavity is included as disappeared in the Catàleg Espeleològic del Massís de l'Ordal (2004).
At the end of that same decade, Jordi Perera and Úrsula, while strolling through this area of Cervelló, locate a small mouth with no identification, but they do not enter the interior. On 17 April 2014 Jordi Perera returns accompanied by various participants of the Grup dels dijous, finding that someone has painted on the mouth the name avenc de l'Escalfor. These carry out a new survey that gives a depth of -32 metres, contrasting that it is the same cavity.
