Description

Morphology

It is a tunnel with a curved passage, located at a depth of -18 metres. The tunnel maintains a diameter of about 3 to 4 metres. It opens again to the exterior after a passage of about 50 metres, and just before reaching the end, it shows a new secondary opening that leads to the exterior. This is a branch of the main tunnel, which with a bearing of 140º forms a narrow corridor about 15 metres long and 1.5 metres wide, although as tall as the previous one.

History

The group of cavities of Cala Viuda are quite well known among the various diving circles of the area. Different diving companies include them in their activity programmes.
