Grotte de la Baume de l'Éboulis des Signoles - Entrée Inférieure

A single cavity with 4 entrances. An entrance called the "upper" one (the "Pit") drops vertically for 10 metres into the small chamber. An entrance called the "main" one (the "Caverne") opens onto a 2-metre step directly into the small chamber. An entrance called the "intermediate" one (the "Trou") descends through the ceiling of the gallery leading from the main cavern. An entrance called the "lower" one (the "Grotte") forms the end of the gallery of the main cavern and opens onto a balcony overlooking the motorway. These four communicating entrances are not visible from the motorway.

Below the small step of the main entrance, a gallery runs in a south-westerly direction; you have to crawl for 5 metres, then it gradually widens. At 10 metres it crosses the 3rd entrance in the ceiling (the "Trou"). This gallery is 30 metres long in total and ends at the fourth entrance (the "Grotte").
