Characteristics

Location

It is located approximately 450 m SW of the Puig de l’Olla.

We will leave from the Campgràs and continue above the Garraf landfill along the path that goes to Castelldefels; after about 350 metres, take the path on the right that runs parallel to the ravine without losing elevation and heads towards the Penya de Castellar and the Pla de les Basses. Once we have passed the Bassot de l’Arbre on the right, and at the height of the Puig de l’Olla, descend towards the ravine along the ridge that separates it from the tributaries that come down from the Puig d’Olla; the cavity is located on the same ridge about 30 metres above the bed of the ravine.

Description

Morphology

Small vertical cavity with an elongated, narrow entrance 1 x 0.25 metres; once past it, it widens slightly. Shortly afterwards it narrows and ends in an impassable lower passage.

Below this lower passage, the small dimensions of the possible continuation, covered with wall formations, have been verified, as well as the sedimented floor.

Speleothems

There are some wall formations. Below the lower passage, the possible continuation is covered with wall formations.

History

13/04/1999 - First located and documented by LLuís Muntan, who already names it Forat Estret.

24/05/2012 - Located and probed during the search for the lost Avenc del Mario by Jordi Navarro (CE de Castellar del Vallès).

Between 20/01/2013 and 22/03/2015 - MAD TEAM carries out the exterior cleaning of the entrance and installs a spit at the entrance.

10/10/2015 - The clearing of 1.5 metres of sedimented material begins to rule out that it could be the not-found Avenc del Mario. Work carried out by Montse Mañosa and Jordi Navarro (CE de Castellar del Vallès).
