Location

The entrance opens in the spot known as els Mollons, in the Eocene conglomerates that cover the serra de Peracalç. The most effective route is starting from Lluçà, from where a rocky spur formed by the conglomerates can be seen to the E, here of little thickness (30-40 m).

Description

Morphology

The not very large entrance, 1.5X0.8, gives way to a 20-metre shaft, with relatively smooth walls, and narrower in the middle than at the ends, with a small embedded block, and which leaves us at the top of a stone ramp.

Progression

Descending this ramp to its end, which follows the N direction, we will reach the point of maximum depth, located at -30.5 metres.

History

The first exploration was carried out by the GELL of the CE de Lleida in November 1970.

Members of the GES of the Club Muntanyenc Barcelonès explored it again on 26 September 1971, naming it avenc de Reguard. The cavity remained unpublished until the SIE of the CE Àliga visited and surveyed it in March 1973, publishing the corresponding record the following year.
