Characteristics

Location

From the Morera de Montsant, el, the path climbing towards the grau de l'Agnet (Grau de l'Annet according to the ICC) is marked as a GR. It leads to an obvious step before finally winding up in search of the foot of the cliff. On the same side of the path we find the entrance of a cavity marked by the Grup de Valls; once past it, the path continues for a few metres through a flat area. When it is about to end, on the right a faint trail begins to climb into the woodland. About 50 metres along, turning off to the left, on the edge of a pile of blocks, we will find one of the entrances of the cavity, formed by a recent collapse (2005). Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

A pit with a 15-metre drop. Through the entrance we enter a ramp, observing a pit on the left that does not need to be descended. Continuing along the ramp we reach a small step where we find a fissure that also climbs back towards the outside, forming the second entrance of the cavity. The gallery that follows the step soon becomes impassable, but on the right a narrow passage connects us with the lower part of the pit that we had seen at the entrance on our left. At the base of this pit, a new step leads us to a chamber among blocks with no further possibilities. At the end of the chamber at the base of the pit, climbing, we connect with a small chamber where the cavity ends.
