A tiny little cave only 4 m long in Olivella (the Garraf).

Characteristics

Location

Following the Jafre stream downstream, after the meander where the Cova Xaro is found, the thalweg continues in a straight line for more than 500 metres, until the confluence with the Fondo de Mas Vendrell, where a new meander begins to the right. At this point one must climb about 8 metres up the left slope, where the little cave is found.

Description

Morphology

Made up of a single gallery a little more than 3.50 metres long that gradually narrows until it closes in a very narrow passage.

History

Explored and catalogued by members of the Secció d'Espeleologia de la Biblioteca Museu Víctor Balaguer (Vilanova i la Geltrú) on 2 November 1981.
