Location

Following downstream along the riera de Jafre, after the Avenc de Penya Embassada, past the first meander on the right and before reaching the next one, on the left, on the left-hand slope and beside the path that follows the riera, at the foot of a wall about 4 metres high, is the small entrance of the pit, in Olivella (el Garraf).

Description

Morphology

Small circular entrance 0.60 metres in diameter that leads to a drop of just over 1 metre. A short slope of stones leads to a tiny little chamber with a higher ceiling, where the cavity remains closed off by rubble. The pit is just over 2 m deep.

History

Explored and catalogued by members of the Secció d'Espeleologia de la Biblioteca Museu Víctor Balaguer (Vilanova i la Geltrú) on 29 November 1981.
