Location

The cavity is located just opposite the cova de les Llenes, on the hydrographic left bank of the Flamisell river, and hanging on the cliff.

To reach it, one must position oneself at the pont del Congost, cross the river and walk for about twenty minutes until reaching the foot of the cliff where the cave is found.

Description

Morphology

The 2.5x1.5 metre entrance gives access to a straight passage about 10 metres long; at the end of this passage there is a chamber about 5 metres in diameter where the cavity ends.

Progression

To access the cave, equipment and ropes are needed, since the access is via a sort of via ferrata.

History

A cavity that from the year 2014 began to be systematically explored by archaeologists; since then this work has continued. Currently (2024) the archaeologists are still working there.
