Location

Located in Cabacés, in the N part of the village we find the chapel of Sant Joan, from here a track leads towards the chapel of la Foia; following it for 1,600 metres we pass in front of la Covassa, 200 metres further on the track makes a 180º turn to the right, while to the left a track branches off where after a few metres there is a barrier prohibiting passage; this track must be followed for 1,100 metres until crossing the barranc Tancat, at this point we will find a signpost, we must continue straight ahead along the track for 90 metres, where we will turn right onto a path that climbs the barranc Tancat along its hydrographic right bank, and which in 275 metres will take us to the cova dels Casaments.

History

Known since time immemorial. It is said that in the past marriages between couples from the villages of Cabacés and Margalef were agreed in this cave.

Often some hikers, due to the proximity between the two, confuse this cave with the cova de la Palla.
