A 23 m wide rock shelter in the Serra de Llena, in the Conca de Barberà, known since time immemorial.

Characteristics

Location

In the Serra de Llena (Conca de Barberà). Leaving Vilanova de Prades in the direction of Ulldemolins (TV-7004), leave the car at km 8, on the left-hand verge. We will go back 70 metres and on the other side of the road a dirt track begins (closed off by a large block at its start). Soon the track becomes tarmacked and turns 180º; once the turn is made we will already see the rock shelter on our left. We will continue 40 metres and find a path that climbs up towards the cave.

Description

Morphology

Rock shelter 23 metres wide, 8 metres deep and 5 metres high with a triangular-shaped plan.

History

Known since time immemorial. The only reference available was its location on the ICGC map.
