Characteristics

Location

From Mont-ral we will follow the camí de la Foradada, which passes through the Serrat de l'Avenc. Once past the avenc de l'Os and further on the turn-off to the avenc del Teix, we will find a path on the right (ETRS89 X:339688; Y:4572438). We will follow this path for 250 metres, where on the left of the path we will find a depression in the terrain, inside which and close to the foot of the cliff is the avenc de la Pipa. We will continue along the path and soon find a landslide passage where there are some trunks acting as a footbridge with a handrail rope that facilitate the crossing; a few metres further on we reach the junction of the path that climbs from the Teix mil·lenari, we will continue to the left, and a few metres on we find a path on the right that we will follow for about 525 metres, ignoring the turn-offs we find on the right that would make us lose height. After the above route we will climb to the left to the base of the cliff, where via a small channel we will climb to the grau where the cave entrance is located.
