Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant • Baix Camp 18m

A cave with no speleological interest in Vandellós, closed by a 1 metre high dry stone wall that was used as a livestock pen.

Characteristics

Location

From Vandellòs one must head towards the small village of Castelló, reached by a dirt track of about 7 km, suitable for vehicles; it can also be reached more easily from Masboquera, where from kilometre 7.5 of the C-44 road a track leads there.

Once in Castelló one must go towards the upper part of the village and follow the path that climbs with the signs for the font and the rentador del Beltran or de Castelló; in about 10 minutes of walking we reach the turn-off for the rentador, which is left on the left, we continue upwards following the signs for the graus de Vandellós and, on arriving in front of the rock wall of the cingle, one must go about 50 metres to the left where we find the cavity; in total we have been about 40 minutes.
