Characteristics

Location

The cavity is located in the municipality of Àger. To reach it, follow the paved track that climbs from Àger towards the coll d'Ares; on arriving at the area of the plans de Badia and once at the height of the font del Morralet, we will follow the cultivated fields that descend towards the Barranquills, where there is a climbing practice area. The cave is found on the left at the end of the fields and below the first rise.

Description

Morphology

It is a cavity with 12 metres of passage, completely clear due to its wide entrance.

History

Known since ancient times and used as a sheepfold. It seems that it was visited by the Club Gimnàstic Barcelonès in the sixties, as the initials painted at the mouth corroborate this.
