Description

Morphology

The outer opening is 6 metres wide by 1.5 metres average height and connects with a single passage some 6-8 metres wide and of a very low height (0.3 m on average). A cavity set between two bedding planes inclined towards the W, causing the passage to have a slightly ascending course and to be closed at 15 metres from its start by a narrow, impenetrable horizontal fissure.

History

It was probably opened when the Costes road was made or in later widenings. The first reference we have is of a visit by members of GES – CMB in February 1960. The only data we know are those published by J. Borràs (1974) (GES-CMB), who had explored and surveyed it in October 1974.
