Description
Morphology
One enters the cave through a wide overhang where a triangular entrance is seen with a fissure coming from above. The mouth is 0.8 metres wide by 2.3 metres high. A gallery oriented to the S leads, after 20 metres, to a final chamber where large blocks fallen from the ceiling are seen; the heights in the final chamber vary between 3 and 5 metres.
Hydrology
At the mouth the water reaches up to the neck. In the final chamber the water reaches below the knees, which indicates that the Sand floor has been rising slightly in this final stretch.
History
The first data available are those provided by members of SIRE – UEC, who explored and surveyed it in November 1999. Years later, in August 2010, it was explored by members of GE Badalona, who, being unaware of the earlier work, named it Cova de la Cala de la Móra nº 2.
