Description

Morphology

Formed by a single chamber subdivided by highly decalcified reconstruction processes that come to mask the mouth, giving it the appearance of having several entrances. It has a small lateral crawlway.

Hydrology

Ancient fossil spring seated on a bedding plane.

History

The only data known are those given by the members of the GERP (Sant Just Desvern) who explored and surveyed it in June 1987.

This cave must be the same one that Joan Ferraté (1918) cites, together with the Cova de les Beates, near the Fontcalda; although he cites it as Cova dels Àngels, on the other hand the GERP colleagues call it in the singular and describe another cave, this one indeed in the plural, but in the N sector of the Serra de Pàndols.
