Description

Morphology

It is a cavity of reduced dimensions that has two entrances, which give access to two chambers that connect with each other. The left-hand opening, 2.80X1.80 metres, connects with the larger chamber; this one, of quadrangular plan, measures 3.70 metres in maximum width and 9.50 metres deep. The right-hand entrance is smaller, with a height of 1.40 metres and 3 metres deep.

History

Since ancient times this site has been disturbed by the inhabitants of Collsuspina. The first systematic surveys were carried out in 1969, undertaken by members of the Museu Arqueològic de Moià, under the supervision of the Museu Arqueològic de Barcelona, with the aim of recovering the pieces that still remained in the cave.
