Location

It is located on the C-66 road from Banyoles to Besalú, on a bend and on the right-hand side of the road, on the embankment right next to it, once the retaining wall where the les Coves restaurant is located ends and just opposite kilometre 51.

Description

Morphology

Small cavity consisting of two entrances that join inside. The height difference is 1.5 metres.

Progression

Through the gallery located further S, one reaches a small crawlway located at a lower level.

History

The cavity was exposed when the road widening works were carried out. The first reference to the exploration of this cavity is the one carried out by the GE Badalona on 30 January 1998.
