Description

Morphology

A small depression gives way to an entrance half obstructed by blocks and trunks, at one end of which there is a 5-metre shaft. At its bottom there is a debris cone that forms a ramp with a 40º incline and that places us at the end of the pit, plugged by sediments.

Hydrology

It is a small sinkhole that collected the waters of the slope of the Serrat Voltor and that is currently obstructed by sediments.

History

Discovered and explored by members of EC Gràcia and GE Badalona in 1980, who named it Avenc dels Cóms.

In October 2011, on a trip (EC Gràcia, GE Badalona and CE de Castellar) through the sector and with the directions of Mr. Salvador Badia, the cavity was rediscovered and the name by which it is known in the area was learned.
