Description
Morphology
The rock shelter has maximum dimensions of 30 m in width by 4 m in depth and a height of 5 m.
Speleothems
The trickles that fall from the top of the rocky wall have over the years formed the balmed wall of tuff stone and a kind of rounded basins at the base.
Hydrology
The spring does not have a single emission point, but rather there are several trickles that fall from the top of the rocky wall. The rounded basins at the base have been adapted for the storage and channeling of water.
History
Known since remote times. On the Targeta Postal (Mumbrú, 1924) one can see the stone table and benches and the set of polychrome tiles of the verge of Montserrat.
