Location

The rock shelter is located in la Nou de Berguedà, about 75 m east of la Cova dels Desertors, but access is not possible from the cave. To get there, follow the itinerary described for going to la Cova dels Desertors, but instead of entering the head of the gully, continue downhill, descend a very steep slope and you will find the rock shelter on your right, at the foot of a small wall.

Description

Morphology

The width of the mouth is 4 m and the depth is another 4 m. The floor plan is triangular and the ground is relatively flat, which contrasts with the surroundings where it is found, among scree slopes and steep inclines.

History

Found by chance by members of ECM Barcelonès and GE Badalona during one of the attempts to locate la Cova dels Desertors.
